DESCRIPTION:Meet Pär Nordlund – Professor at Karolinska Institutet\, pioneer in drug discovery and co-founder and board member of Pelago Bioscience.\nWelcome to the cozy AWL cafe\, Innomedicum for networking\, knowledge sharing and fun after the working day. \nWe have a special guests this evening: Pär Nordlund\, who will talk to you about The Science Behind Pelago Bioscience – a global success supporting drug discovery. \nWith a background in structural biology\, Pär leads a research group at the Department of Oncology and Pathology\, focusing on mechanistic protein science and cancer drug development. His work includes advancing deep-proteomics through the innovative CETSA method – a powerful tool for understanding drug mechanisms\, resistance\, and identifying new therapeutic opportunities. \nHe is the co-founder of several biotech companies\, including Pelago Bioscience\, Sprint Bioscience\, and DotBio Pharma\, and a member of the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet. \nThis is a member event.
