DESCRIPTION:Welcome to an afternoon focused on how to develop\, validate\, and adopt AI in healthcare. This gathering will bring together healthcare providers\, companies\, policymakers\, and service providers promoting AI development. \n\nIn today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape\, artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics are transforming diagnostics\, treatment\, and patient care. However\, the journey from prototype to clinical practice can feel like navigating a maze of regulatory\, technical\, and financial barriers. \nThe event is arranged by TEF-Health together with Health Data Sweden. Both organisations are initiatives within the European Commission programs for a digital Europe (DIGITAL)\, with co-funding from Vinnova. Her main inspiration and motivation come from new knowledge and science that could potentially change the future for people suffering from diseases that currently lack effective treatments. \nShe founded Genovis AB right after completing her PhD in biochemistry at Lund University. Over more than 15 years as CEO\, she was part of a young\, dedicated team that developed and launched products on a global market\, including through subsidiaries in the US. The company was listed/introduced on First North\, Nasdaq OMX Nordic\, at the same time. \nSarah has many years of experience in leadership and product development within smaller\, innovative biotech companies. For several years\, she’s been active as an entrepreneur\, CEO\, and board member of both private and public life science companies. \nShe has also served on the board of Lund University\, Lund University School of Engineering (LTH)\, and the industry organization SwedenBIO. Additionally\, she is active as a mentor at the Termeer Institute in the US. \nAbout Aqilion \nAqilion is a Swedish biopharma company that develops innovative new therapies for diseases caused by chronic inflammation and dysfunctional immune reactions. The company is mainly active in the idea stage to early clinical development. \nThe goal is to demonstrate the clinical and commercial potential of the medical innovation to attract industrial partners and buyers\, who in turn have the capacity to continue clinical development and take the drug to the patients.
