Originating from Professor Maria Strömme’s nanoscience research at Uppsala University, the work evolved into the proprietary technology platform Formulite®, designed to address one of the key challenges in oral drug development: limited bioavailability.

About the speaker

Peter Åsberg, Ph.D., is an experienced life science executive currently serving as CEO of Disruptive Pharma, where he focuses on translating a differentiated formulation technology into clinically and commercially meaningful medicines.

Peter holds a Ph.D. in applied biochemistry and physics and combines deep scientific expertise with senior leadership experience from innovative biotech and healthcare companies, including BioChromix Pharma, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Sweden and Olink Bioscience. Throughout his career, he has focused on long-term value creation and patient benefit across the pharmaceutical ecosystem.
